Bridget and Kyler met in Greenville, NC, while Bridget was completing her undergraduate degree at East Carolina University and Kyler was beginning Basic Law Enforcement Training. Their first date on February 16th, 2018, at Captain Jack's Mini Golf quickly revealed their shared competitive spirit, though it didn't leave much room for getting to know each other that day.

Over the years, their relationship blossomed despite the challenges. In 2020, they both embarked on their young professional careers: Bridget as an elementary music teacher and Kyler as a police officer in Greenville, NC. The COVID-19 pandemic tested their bond when Bridget expressed a strong desire to move back to her hometown of Wilmington, NC. Faced with the potential end of their relationship, Bridget prepared to part ways, but Kyler responded with unwavering support, promising, "Give me one year, and I'll go with you."

True to his word, they packed up their lives in Greenville and set off on a new chapter in Wilmington. Today, Bridget thrives as an Academic Advisor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, while Kyler serves as a Corporal with the Wrightsville Beach Police Department.

Bridget and Kyler have shared countless adventures over the past 7 years, exploring new cities and cherishing sunrises and sunsets along the East Coast and Western North Carolina with friends and family by their side. In the last year, they embarked on the exciting journey of becoming homeowners and proud dog owners.

They are thrilled to celebrate their special day with loved ones and look forward to continuing their journey surrounded by the support and love of their friends and family.
